This book argues that though Nagarjuna advocates the middle way between nibilism and eternalism, his philosophy of emptiness nevertheless entails nihilism. Burton also refutes the interpretation tht Nagarjuna is sceptic and examines Nagarjuna's notion of non-conceptual knowledge of reality.
